G043FTN01.0 LCD Selection and Compatibility Guide

Review this 4.3-inch parallel-RGB panel by its complete 40-pin signal map and separate LED drive requirements. The same screen dimensions do not make another 40-pin panel a direct replacement.

Reviewed document: Final specification, rev. 1.3; cover approval 2019-05-23; P/N 97.04G03.001.

Model-specific replacement risks

Its pin 37 is VDD and pins 39/40 are backlight anode/cathode. AT043TN25 V.2 instead lists pins 37–40 as NC, while AT043TN24 V.7 assigns them to touch electrodes. Do not reuse a cable based on the 40-pin count. Sources: this document pp. 15–16; TN25 PDF pp. 5–6; TN24 PDF pp. 5–6.

Check DE, DCLK edge and display-direction controls against the host timing. Verify the complete pin map, not only the RGB data bus. Use a suitable LED driver; the backlight reference voltage is not the LCD logic supply.

Do not wire from this summary. Use the complete connector drawing, pin table, timing limits and power sequence for the exact panel and host. Absolute maximum electrical ratings are not recommended supply settings.

Before ordering a sample

  1. Record the complete model suffix and match the applicable document revision.
  2. Compare connector orientation, every pin assignment, supply rails and signal thresholds.
  3. Verify host timing, display-control behavior and separate backlight requirements.
  4. Check the enclosure, FPC routing, viewing direction and any touch assembly.
  5. Validate a sample in the intended equipment before production approval.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reuse another 40-pin 4.3-inch cable?

Not without a pin-by-pin and mechanical review. This model places VDD at pin 37 and backlight connections at pins 39 and 40, which differ from the two reviewed AT043 models.

Does this guide confirm an interchangeable replacement?

No. It reports a specific document scope and review risks. Approve a candidate only after comparing the complete panel and host documentation and validating a sample.

What should I provide for a quotation?

Send the full panel label, required quantity, destination, application, controller and cable details, and whether touch or enclosure changes are permitted. Ask for the applicable current specification and supply status.
