LVDS and eDP Industrial LCD Sample Validation Checklist
Use this checklist after paper comparison and before production approval when replacing an LVDS or eDP industrial display or introducing a converter board.
Compatibility warning: LVDS and eDP are not directly interchangeable. A converter may introduce timing, power, EMI, backlight, boot-sequence and environmental risks that require system-level testing. Same size or interface family does not prove direct compatibility. Confirm the exact revision and complete sample validation before production approval.

- Cable, connector, pinout and grounding verification
- Power-on, power-off, sleep and wake sequence tests
- Image stability, color, flicker and full-resolution timing tests
- Backlight dimming, current and thermal validation
- Touch and controller interoperability
- Cold start, high temperature, vibration and long-run testing
- Golden sample approval and controlled production record
