Selection workflow
- Freeze non-negotiable system constraints.
- Shortlist exact models with current datasheets.
- Compare alternatives line by line, including revisions.
- Prototype cable, controller, UI and touch integration.
- Run application-specific environmental and reliability tests.
- Approve BOM, firmware and replacement controls.
Request samples from the same model and grade proposed for production. A marketplace listing or shortened model name is not enough to control compatibility.
