A display panel alone is not “explosion proof.” Suitability depends on the complete certified equipment, enclosure, installation method and documented hazardous-area requirements.

Compatibility limits and qualification risk
Do not claim certification from panel specifications or marketing wording. Any panel change may affect thermal behavior, window construction, electronics and the certification basis of the finished equipment.
Purchasing recommendation
Provide the hazardous-area classification, required certificate, enclosure drawing, ambient temperature, display size, touch requirement, quantity and delivery schedule.
