BOE BA104S01-100, BA104S01-200 and BA104S01-300 are 10.4-inch, 800 × 600 SVGA LCD modules with LVDS input. The supplied specifications show important differences in luminance, viewing angle, LCD pin assignment and backlight connection. Use this guide to shortlist a model, then approve the exact label, revision, cable, power circuit and mechanical drawing for your equipment.
Prepared from three supplied BOE specifications. Specification review: 27 October 2026. Current production, stock and lead time require separate confirmation.
Quick selection: which version should you evaluate?
BA104S01-100
Start here when the higher specified center luminance is the priority: 500 cd/m² typical. Its 2014 final specification has a different LVDS pin arrangement from the later variants. Test readability in the actual enclosure.
BA104S01-200
Evaluate this 2022 version when 350 cd/m² typical is sufficient and a separate 2-pin LED backlight connection suits the design. Check its 20-pin LCD pinout before using an existing cable.
BA104S01-300
Evaluate this version when 350 cd/m² typical and a separate 5-pin backlight connection with enable and PWM controls fit the host design. Confirm the backlight driver and connector arrangement.

The nominal size and common 20-pin LVDS format are screening facts only. The LCD pin assignments and backlight connections differ; do not assume a shared cable or power board.
Five checks before ordering or replacing a module
- Confirm the full part number and revision. Read the rear label and request the current datasheet for the exact item offered. The three documents reviewed here date from 2014, 2022 and 2018.
- Compare the LCD pinout, not just the pin count. BA104S01-100 puts its 6/8-bit select on pin 20; BA104S01-200 and -300 put it on pin 4. Power, ground and reserved pins also require line-by-line comparison.
- Check the backlight circuit. The -200 document specifies a 2-pin LED connection; the -300 document specifies a 5-pin connection with control signals. Verify supply, polarity, dimming and enable signals for the actual assembly.
- Overlay the mechanical drawings. All three list the same nominal outline and active area, but cable exit, connector position, mounting details and tolerances must be checked on the drawings.
- Test in the real enclosure. Review the required center luminance, viewing direction, cover glass, lighting, controller timing and thermal conditions with a sample. A published brightness value does not establish outdoor readability.
Frequently asked questions
Which BA104S01 version is brightest?
The supplied BA104S01-100 Rev. 1 lists 500 cd/m² typical center luminance. The supplied BA104S01-200 Rev. 0 and BA104S01-300 Rev. P0 each list 350 cd/m² typical. Compare samples under the intended drive and lighting conditions.
Are BA104S01-100, -200 and -300 interchangeable?
Direct interchange is not established. They share a 10.4-inch SVGA format, nominal outline and 20-pin LVDS connection, but the signal connector pin assignments and backlight connections differ.
What is the difference between BA104S01-200 and -300?
In the supplied specifications, both list 350 cd/m² typical luminance and 80°/80°/65°/75° typical viewing angles. The -200 backlight has a separate 2-pin connector, whereas -300 uses a 5-pin connector carrying PWM and enable controls. Confirm the current drawing before selecting either version.
Does the shared 20-pin LVDS connector make the LCD cables compatible?
No. BA104S01-100 uses pin 20 for 6/8-bit selection, while BA104S01-200 and -300 use pin 4. Check every pin and the cable orientation against the actual datasheets.
Do these specifications confirm current production or stock?
No. A historical specification describes the module revision, not today's production or inventory. Request current availability and an applicable revision for the required quantity.
