What is the function of the LCD screen driver board?

　　As an important component of the display, what is the function of the LCD driver board? What functions can the driver board achieve.

　　Firstly, it is the transmission of video signals, which is also the core function. By using interfaces such as Type-C or HDMI, the video signal output from the computer is input to the main control chip of the driver board, and then converted into an EDP signal output. The next step is the operation of the display panel.

　　Then comes the expansion function, which means that besides the input and output signal interfaces on the driver board, there are other expansion interface functions. These functional interfaces are not essential interfaces for a display driver board, but customized interfaces proposed by customers based on market demand.

　　For example, a USB interface can be connected to another touch control board to achieve touch function on the screen. For example, the speaker interface, from which the lead is connected to the speaker, if the input signal supports audio, the speaker can output sound.

　　The driver board itself cannot output sound or achieve touch, but these functions need to be extended through the interface on the driver board. Because external signal data enters through the driver board, it naturally also needs to go out through the driver board. So the actual function of the display driver board is integration and conversion.
